Owners of this designer breed (recognized in other countries, not yet by American Kennel Club in U.S.) are typically farmers who use them to guard livestock. These dogs love their job and will alert owners of danger by barking, in turn scaring off intruders. The coat is thick, as they are built for outside and they will shed. 

 Breed is very intelligent, experienced handlers suggested. If intended for a pet, early and frequent socialization is vital. They are gentle giants with children and livestock. Early training with livestock suggested to trouble shoot any issues as they may arise.

Male size is typically between 80-140 pounds, females 80-120.
